What is your photographic style?

We strive for a Photojournalistic look. Our goal is to record the events of your day in an unobtrusive manner. Every wedding has a story and we try to tell it through photographs that show real loving relationships without setting up artificial poses.

Are you the actual photographers?

Phyllis and I will both be there the entire time you contract us for. In addition, we only accept one wedding on any given day, so you will have our undivided attention for your event.

What equipment will you bring with you?

Professional Canon and Nikon cameras, assorted wide angle and telephoto zoom lenses, on-camera flash and studio lighting units as needed, tripods, enough memory chips to take thousands of images, and a portable computer to back up every image we take before we head back to the studio.

Do you shoot in black and white?

We shoot in color and then convert selected images to black and white.

How long have you been wedding photographers?

We have been photographing weddings for over three decades.

How will you be dressed?

We wear "photographers black" which helps your guests recognize us as photographers and at the same time helps us to be unobtrusive when photographing your event.

My family is from out of town,
how can they see the pictures?

We post them on the internet so anyone with a computer and the right password can access them.

May I have the files?

You will receive image files on CD or DVD. These can be used for printing your own images or taken to your local photo finisher for standard quality reprints.

May I have paper proofs as well as digital?

We include a magazine style proof book with several of our packages and/or you may print your own from the included copyright free image disk.

What if we have to cancel?

If we are able to schedule another wedding on your date, we will refund half of our retainer. If not, there is no refund. If you reschedule your wedding to another date and we are available, your retainer will be credited in full towards your new date. If we have contracted to do your wedding we cannot cancel on you.

What do you do in case of emergencies?

It has never happened, but we are members of the Professional Photographers of America and have a number of highly professional contacts there that we can call upon in an emergency.
